I’ve been baking since I was a kid and always had a sweet tooth. I used to bake so much cake that my grandpa called me the “egg-waster,” and my classmates knew my brownies better than they knew me. But what I loved most about baking was the chance to show love through it.
As I got older, baking wasn’t a top priority. Then, during the pandemic in 2022, I rediscovered my love for it. I started making my own recipes and sharing them. I never imagined it would become what it is today. The response has been amazing, and it’s brought me so much joy. Baking has let me be creative, connect with lots of awesome people worldwide, and finally feel like I’ve found my true passion in life (Alhamdulillah).
Getting to Know Me Better
I’m incredibly grateful for this journey and have big plans for the future! I hope you find some baking inspiration here and stick around for more.
I grew up in New York. My mom and dad always told me how important school is. Because of that, I became the smart kid in my family who loved studying. I always tried to get perfect scores on tests. But I was better at books than street smarts!
I always wanted to travel and explore different places, and when it was time for college, I went to Vanderbilt University in the US. I want to thank my parents for supporting my dreams, even though I’m a girl. In college, I studied a lot, but I also made sure to travel. I was lucky enough to go to Europe when I studied in Spain for a few months.
In 2017, I proudly earned my Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Human Nutrition, diving headfirst into the world of innovation and problem-solving.
Following graduation, I embarked on an exciting journey as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, where every day brings new challenges and opportunities to make a difference.
